Here are some prayers that we learn and use at school to sanctify our day. Check out the resources page for more information on the Catholic faith and how to incorporate prayer and faith into your home.

The Lord's Prayer (Our Father)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Guardian Angel Prayer
We pray this prayer before rest time. Sometimes we sing it to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
Angel of God, my guardian dear
To whom God's love commits me here
Ever this day be at my side
To light, to guard, to rule, to guide.
Amen.

Ever this day be at my side
To light, to guard, to rule, to guide.
Amen.
Act of Contrition
We pray this at the end of the school day.
My God, I am sorry for all my sins with all my heart.
In choosing to do wrong and failing to doing good,
I have sinned against You whom I should love above all things.
I firmly intend, with Your help, to do penance, to sin no more,
And avoid whatever leads me to sin.
Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died for us.
In His name my God have mercy.
Amen.
